|All Sky Ute Casino Resort Properties temporarily closing starting March 23.
Dear Sky Ute Community,
Beginning on March 23 at 3PM MDT, we will be temporarily closing all Sky Ute Casino Resort's operations including the hotel and its restaurant, Willows Café Bistro. This decision was made by the Southern Ute Indian Tribe as a whole, following recommendations from multiple public health agencies.
As always, the health of our guests, employees and community is our top priority. We are exercising an abundance of caution and believe this is the best decision for our community at this time.
The temporary closure applies to all Sky operations: Casino, Hotel, Willows Café Bistro, Rolling Thunder Grill, Rolling Thunder Lanes, Seven Rivers Bingo Hall, Seven Rivers Steak Seafood Spirits and Shining Mountain Cafe.
There have been no known cases of COVID-19 at Sky Ute Casino Resort. However, closing the property will allow us to promote the social distancing practices public health officials have determined are the best way to stem the spread of the virus.
Tribal leaders are carefully monitoring developments in order to determine an exact reopening date. We will update you and our website as soon as we have determined a more exact date.
While this situation is unprecedented and continuously evolving, we take heart in knowing it is also temporary. We have been inspired to see communities coming together during this challenging time.
We look forward to greeting you all at Sky Ute Casino Resort again soon.
